CENTURIO options and features

A 5-roll or 7-roll straightening unit enables straightening of sheet metal using a progressively controlled straightening system. This automated system ensures reliable straightening results.

The roller shear allows partial cross cuts and is carried out automatically from the left and right side of the sheet metal. This enables individual sheet metal cutting patterns with minimal waste. The setup allows for excellent quality.

Straightforward and easy to use through one or several HMI displays at a machine system. Intuitive HMI screens and several language options allow user-friendly machine operation. The network- interface enables communication flexibility.

A maximum of 8 fully automated positioned slitting knife pairs allow for the fastest possible execution of cutting orders with the highest level of quality and precision.

A solid welded base frame, proven construction as well as mechanisms and processes that have been optimized over 20 years form a robust machine system with little space requirement.

A film application system can be executed manually or automatically and is kept simple. A protection film on the upper sheet metal surface allows enhanced surface protection for the following process steps.

The CENTURIO system is available as a stand-alone system or with an automatic coil warehouse system. Simple subsequent extension possibilities ensure production flexibility and growth options.

The CENTURIO system allows for assignment of material-specific cutting parameters (cutting gap, cutting depth, coil alignment force, straightening unit parameters,…). The automated machine configuration based on the saved cutting parameters ensures the highest cutting quality of your sheet metal.

The coils are transported fully automatic to the sheet metal cutting machine and the loose end of the coils are fed into the cutting machine using a patented mechanism which guarantees absolute protection of the material surface and does not require any manual operation.

The automatic label application system applies labels to each individual sheet metal strip for easy and traceable handling of parts in subsequent processes (in production, shipping and on installation sites). The flexible label design can contain  content and/or a barcode for identification.

The automated coil warehouse can be executed as single-lane or multi-lane system. The automated coil warehouse can be adapted optimally to respective needs, as it can be expanded as required.

With this system coils are stored damage free.

The Bendex-interface has been established for years to transfer cutting orders from Bendex to our slitting/cutting machine systems. We offer one of the most powerful Bendex-interfaces, that has been used worldwide at customers of different company sizes.

The OPTIMIZER is a simple optimization software with which cutting orders can easily be combined and sheet metal waste can be reduced. Cutting orders can be uploaded via EXCEL-lists and linked to other machine systems.

The guillotine shear is a well-known and popular cross cutting system which ensures excellent and precise cross cutting over the entire sheet metal width.  The guillotine shear unit is known to be particularly reliable and robust built.

Recoiling after slitting or just cutting to length (cross-cutting prior to a recoiling process without slitting) is carried out easily and reliably for years thanks to a simple and flexible machine interface set.

Process-safe and damage-free coil processing due to robust coil axles with clamping bars.

An additional optional coil axle brake ensures safe processing of larger sheet metal thicknesses.

Automated sheet metal cutting from small coils / residual amounts of coils are carried out quickly and effortlessly using the coil cage.
